Soriana Ottoman is created by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina. The first edition of the Soriana series appeared in 1970 and received the Compassod'Oro award for its unique design. The Soriana series is now making a comeback with joy to all design enthusiasts.
It is now made with polystyrene and wadding fiber instead of the previous polyurethane padding, which contributes to a more environmentally friendly product. Soriana is unique both in its visual expression and its construction, it has no internal hard structure, but the soft furniture body is held together by metal clamps that also create an effective drape. The Soriana Ottoman performs well on its own but reaches its full potential when combined with any of the seating from the collection as this creates a unified and welcoming impression. The Soriana collection includes sofas and armchairs, all of which are available in a variety of finishes in both fabric and leather in assorted colors.
