The MG501 Cuba Chair is an armchair from the brand Carl Hansen & Søn, designed by Morten Gøttler. The armchair has been part of Carl Hansen & Søn's range for several years and is now presented in a new version with a seat and back made of paper cord, providing a light and refined expression. It takes a skilled craftsman about eight hours to hand-weave the paper cord, using a special technique that makes the chair beautiful on both sides. The frame is made of solid oak and can be chosen with an oiled or soap-treated finish.
