Wooden Doll Dog is a wooden sculpture designed by designer Alexander Girard in 1952 and produced by Vitra. The Wooden Doll Dog is made of hand-painted pine and features a dog on its hind legs in black and white, except for the pink tongue. The dog is a great decorative detail for any home and is available in two sizes. These pieces work equally well on their own or in combination with each other.Girard originally designed a wide variety of wooden sculptures, each one unique, for his home in Santa Fe. The inspiration came from Girard's large personal collection of ethnic art.
