Wooden Dolls Mother Fish & Child got its playful and decorative design from Alexander Girard in 1952. The two fish - the mother and her little child - are made by the Vitra brand in solid spruce and are painted by hand. They come in a nice and high quality packaging and include a printed Vitra label. Girard's decorative wooden dolls made today are based on the originals he designed and made for his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He got his inspiration from the folk art that existed in America, Asia and Eastern Europe.
