The stools Stools from Vitra were created when Charles and Ray Eames were commissioned by Time Inc. to furnish three different lobby areas in Rockefeller Center in New York in the 1960s. In addition to the famous Lobby Chairs, the Eames couple also developed these three stools in solid walnut. Stools are versatile and can also be used as side tables. This design is an expression of the Eames couple's unique ability to combine functionality and beauty in their creations.
