Tabouret Bois is a stool designed in 1941 by Jean Prouvé and produced by Vitra. The Tabouret Bois is available in oiled oak, smoked oak, or walnut. The classic design makes it timeless and easy to match in all different types of homes, environments, and interiors. Compared with the Tabouret Haut, the Solvay is slightly lower. This means that, in addition to serving as a stool, it also functions as a footstool, relief bench, and side table. It gives a luxurious feel despite its minimalist design.
