The Fan Black Table was designed in 2012 by Tom Dixon for his own brand of the same name. Fan Black Table has a base made of solid wood, in natural light. The table top is available in several finishes in marble, birch or oak and has a diameter of 60 cm. The inspiration for Fan comes from the British design classic Windsor chair, but in a slightly more modern version. During the manufacturing process, processes that demand precision are used. The wood is carefully twisted, thinned, and finely crafted to create a silhouette reminiscent of a frog's tail, sea anemones, and antique corsets. To create a natural finish, the wood is then treated.
