Icha Bar Chair is a bar stool designed by Chris Martin that was introduced by Massproductions year 2017 during Stockholm Design Week. The chair is design is a mix of Scandinavian and Japanese design. The wooden chair has a complex construction and is made of solid wood that has been layered and glued with the help of a knife. The Icha Bar Chair is designed to meet the demands and needs of a furniture in public environments. A proof that this particular barstool meets these requirements and needs is that it has been certified with the designation furniturefakta which is a Swedish quality standard for furniture. The bar chair is made of beech and is available in several different finishes and colors.
Icha Bar Chair and the other furniture in the series were well received when they were presented during Stockholm Design Week 2017. The pieces were so well received that Elle Decoration magazine named the chair "the right chair" for the next three years.
