The seat is created from welded, solid steel bars and is supported by a base with steel medallions. The Bertoia Diamond Chair is available in a variety of finishes, with a simple seat cushion or fully upholstered and padded front. A choice of fabrics for the upholstery is available. Bertoia was mostly known as a sculptor and designed only one furniture collection. Although he did not work primarily as an interior designer, his paintings were highly appreciated and are still sold around the world today.
