Masters Stool is a bar stool designed in 2013 by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell. The bar stool is a refinement of the Masters dining chair, which was launched in 2010 and won the Good Design Award at the Chicago Athenaeum - Museum of Architecture and Design that same year. Masters Stool is available in two heights, 65 cm and 75 cm.
Masters' unique design with the rounded lines forming the backrest was created with inspiration from three iconic chairs, Seven by Arne Jacobsen, Tulip by Eero Saarinen and Eiffel by Charles Eames. The contours of each of the three icons overlap to form a modern hybrid in the Masters Chair. The chair is made of durable plastic and is available in a variety of colors. This version comes with a matte silky finish, but the chair is also available in a chrome version.
