Designed by the Danish designer Jonas Trampedach, the Type Chair from the brand HAY takes its inspiration and name from the image of an archetypal chair. With its distinctly shaped back, the chair takes on a unified sculptural character that emphasizes a sense of recognition while retaining its unique identity. Made of aluminum with a silicone surface, the chair combines craftsmanship with industrial methods to create a smooth and uniform surface.
