Masters Chair is an award-winning chair created by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell in 2010. In the same year, the design was awarded the prestigious 2010 Good Design Award at the Chicago Athenaeum - Museum of Architecture and Design.
Masters Chair's unique design with the rounded lines that form the backrest was created with inspiration from three iconic chairs, the Seven by Arne Jacobsen, the Tulip by Eero Saarinen and the Eiffel by Charles Eames. The contours of each of the three icons overlap to form a modern hybrid in the Masters Chair. The chair is made of durable plastic, is stackable and available in a variety of colors. This version comes with a matte silky finish, but the chair is also available in a black version.
