Fritz Hansen's Swan armchair, like the Egg, was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and is considered one of his outstanding works. The swan, introduced in 1958, represented technological innovation by being completely curvy with no straight lines. Jacobsen created both the Egg and the Swan in his garage using the same technique, with only the shape differentiating them. Svanen is available as an armchair and a 2-seater sofa, made of molded cold foam with a 360-degree rotatable aluminum base. The upholstery is offered in different leathers and fabrics.
