Fritz Hansen's Suspence lamp series was designed in 2013 by GamFratesi for Fritz Hansen in 2016 and consists of a ceiling lamp in two sizes, P1-P2, and the floor lamp Nomad. The ceiling lamp is made of a matt lacquered aluminum shade and is available in black, light gray or white. The shape of the shade is rounded with a tapered top and a polycarbonate glare shield at the bottom. The cable comes in a matching color to the screen, giving a uniform visual impression, and is available in two lengths. The idea behind Suspence was to translate a movement into physical form. During the creation process, GamFratesi was inspired by the dragon movement, which is particularly visible on the top of the ceiling lamp where the tip becomes visible.
