The rectangular model of the design icon Superellips from Fritz Hansen. A hugely popular dining table designed in 1968 through a collaboration between Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson, and Arne Jacobsen. The inspiration behind the design comes from Piet Hein's ingenious solution to a traffic problem at Stockholm's Sergels square, a super-elliptical roundabout. Superellips has become one of Scandinavia's most popular tables and a true classic, introduced in a variety of shapes, sizes and forms, with fixed or extendable table tops.

For the higher end, the table comes with a rectangular top. Choose between walnut veneer or the latest laminate launched in 2017 - Fenix laminate, a nano laminate resistant to scratches and wear and has an extra matte finish. There are several colors to choose from and the laminate top also has the classic aluminum edge. The legs are characteristic of the table's design and are produced in chrome-plated steel as standard but can also be powder-coated in the same color as the table top. They are also removable.
