The Ditzel Lounge Chair was designed in 1953 by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel for Fredericia Furniture. In collaboration with her husband, Nanna Ditzel designed an armchair with a modern twist on a classic lounge chair. The aim was to design a chair that is beautiful from all angles. The Ditzel Lounge Chair has a backrest that is carefully designed to provide good support for the back and arms. Organic and sculptural, the armchair offers plenty of space and makes an attractive addition to both private and public settings. The chair's legs are made of lacquered walnut and the upholstery is available in both fabric and leather. Underneath the upholstery is a foam padding and a steel frame.

The Ditzel Lounge Chair was created by one of Denmark's most prominent designers of the 20th century, Nanna Ditzel. During the 1980s, she worked as head of the design department at Fredericia Furniture, contributing her sense of organic forms and experimental approach to materials.
