In 1980, designer Gae Aulenti and award-winning architect Piero Castiglioni designed the Parola series of lamps for FontanaArte. The Parola wall lamp has a shade made of mouth-blown glass available in white as well as amber and the fixture in nickel-plated brass. The combination of materials gives Parola an exclusive expression. Because of the spherical shape of the shade as well as the material, the lamp provides a soft light directed towards the wall.
