Fontana is a coffee table designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1932 for the Italian FontanaArte. The coffee table is handmade and made from a single piece of 15 millimetre thick glass, available in four different sizes. This modern table exudes elegance and exclusivity without taking over the room.
Chiesa began his career as an apprentice to interior designer Giovan Bittista Gianotti and in 1933 took over as artistic director of FontanaArte. Chiesa uses innovative sculpting techniques when working with glass, giving his work a unique and aesthetically fluid form.
