The Jackie O pendant light from Catellani Smith was created by Enzo Catellani. The lamp was created at the request of an architect who wanted a version of Catellani's popular Wa Wa floor lamp but one that could hang over a larger table. Jackie O was produced along the same design line, with an ambition to achieve total minimalism of clean lines and virtually invisible wiring. While working on Jackie O, Catellani developed an ultra-thin cable covered in blue fabric, which he would later include in other projects.

The lamp is made of a simple glass lens that hides the LED lightbulb and is framed by a pendant in shiny, nickel-plated copper. The lenses can be replaced if necessary. The ultra-thin blue cable makes an elegant, subtle detail. The light can also be dimmed. Jackie O is available both as a pendant light and a larger chandelier with multiple lamps. Exclusively handmade in Italy, right on the banks of the Serio River in the Bergamo area.
