The Fil de Fer pendant light is one of the most iconic lamps from Catellani Smith, and one of our favorites here at Nordiska Galleriet. The Fil de Fer collection includes lamps in a variety of designs, from ceiling to table and floor lamps, all created by Enzo Catellani some 20 years ago. Fil de Fer was first created in a limited edition and began production in 2002 for a larger market. The lamp was an immediate success. Fil de Fer can be seen in the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum in London. There are four custom-made specimens, each two meters in diameter, in the restaurant, a truly spectacular installation.

Fil de Fer is made by a solid craftsmanship, several aluminum wires are woven together by hand to form a large sphere. Small LED lightbulbs are embedded in the surface, creating a stunning glow throughout the room. The brightness can also be dimmed to create the right mood. The Fil de Fer pendant light is available in several models and in two colors: gold anodized or in natural aluminum. Fil de Fer becomes as much a piece of art as a lamp and fits in both classic and modern environments. Also available as floor lamp, wall lamp, and table lamp.
