CH338I is an extension leaf for the tables CH338 and CH339. This version of the extension leaf comes in FSC™-certified mahogany, a tropical wood known for its uniform and deep color properties. The wood is popular for its user-friendliness and stability, and Carl Hansen & Søn has chosen to manufacture some of their most famous furniture in this wood. The surface is beautifully reddish-brown and has been treated with water-based oil to enhance the grain and protect against splinters.
CH338 is an elegant dining table designed in 1962 by Hans J. Wegner and produced by the Danish brand Carl Hansen & Søn. The table is made of an elliptically shaped tabletop and solid round wooden legs. The table is crafted in solid wood with various finishes to choose from. It is practical and available in three different sizes, with extension leaves also available for purchase. CH24 and CH20 are examples of two chairs that pair excellently with the table.
