BM1160 Hunting Table is a classic dining table from Carl Hansen & Søn, designed in 1950 by Børge Mogensen. The dining table, also known as the Hunting Table, is made of solid wood with fantastic detailing and a construction that requires experienced and solid craftsmanship. Børge Mogensen designed the table in 1950 for the Cabinetmakers Guild furniture exhibition in Copenhagen. The theme for the year was the hunting cabin, and the designer's way of connecting the two bucks with angled legs, exquisite support rods, a tabletop of thin veneer, and edges in solid wood led a critic at the launch to describe BM1160 Hunting Table as "casting art". In 2018, the table became the starting point for a series of upcoming launches of the designer's works for Carl Hansen & Søn.
