Drum Teen is a hexagonal, high-backed chair from Italian Cappellini, created by Mac Stopa in 2017. It was added as a smaller version of the Drum Optical from before. The unusual shape pays homage to the hexagonal drums of the 1980s, while being modular and can be built in a variety of ways to create larger surfaces.
The Drum Teen is upholstered in cold foam with multiple densities for maximum comfort and is fully upholstered in a single-ply fabric, Bielastico, which has a lot of stretch, or Master fabric, which is a finer fabric, and in leather, all from the Cappellini collection. The Drum Teen has a slightly padded seat for added comfort and a high backrest with a slightly padded back. The Drum Teen is a real eye-catcher in the living room and is equally at home in a group or on its own in a living room.
