The Alanda Coffee Table Rectangular from the B&B Italia brand is an iconic table designed by designer Paolo Piva in the early 1980s. The coffee table has now been recreated as a tribute to Piva who passed away in 2017. This is a design classic with a design language that mimics a group of upside down pyramids that support the glass top.
Paolo Piva was mainly interested in industrial design and was one of the most prominent Italian architectural designers of the late 20th century. The designer has studied architecture and art at the international university IUAV in Venice. During his career, Piva has collaborated with several major brands and this coffee table is one of the designer's most famous works.
