The stool NE60 Stool Nordiska Galleriet Limited Edition is a limited edition of Alvar Aalto's classic stool, which was produced in a collaboration between Artek and Nordiska Galleriet. The stool consists of lacquered birch with a seat on which a direct replica of the Nordiska Galleriet's well-known checkerboard floor has been printed, with its original 110-year patina of scuffs and dirt. Just like the floor, the stool ages with dignity. Every stain, scratch and scratch creates personality for the stool, which becomes more beautiful over time. The NE60 is an item to have and keep.

The original stool, Pall 60, was created by Alvar Aalto in 1933. Aalto was one of the pioneers when it comes to lamination and how to process wood. His innovative and experimental technique resulted in the wood being able to take on a more organic form, which was groundbreaking at the time. It laid the foundation for the well-known L-shaped legs that support the stool and has become perhaps Aalto's most well-known signature.

NE60 Stool Nordiska Galleriet Limited Edition is available in 100 copies where all are numbered. The stool Stool 60 will also be available in a limited edition in the same number.
