The British architect David Chipperfield designed Chipperfield 102 Floor Lamp for Wästberg in 2019. The lamp is part of the Chipperfield 102 range, which also includes a desk lamp and a wall lamp. The floor lamp is available in brass or black. The piece has undergone a blackening process resulting in a beautiful satin, gray-black finish. The idea of the lamp was to create a simple shape with a clear distinction between the base, a single arm and a lamp head. The light source consists of an energy-efficient COB LED that provides excellent brightness and light output. The high-frequency driver in the lamp also provides a flicker-free light that can be dimmed. The Chipperfield 102 Floor Lamp is ideal as a lamp next to the sofa and thanks to its minimal directional movements can provide optimum light.
