The highly successful Stockholm-based architectural duo Tham & Videgård are behind the sophisticated Alma ceiling/wall lamp, named after a co-working space on Nybrogatan in Stockholm of the same name. This was the starting point for the lamp, which is now produced by Helsingborg-based Wästberg. Alma w171 has a diameter of 69 cm and has a circular shape with a significant wave-shaped pattern where Tham & Videgård took inspiration from the sine wave. This creates an interesting shading where the light source is reflected against the waves, creating an indirect light.

Alma w171 is available in matte white or matte gray and is also available as a pendant lamp and wall lamp. It is made of aluminum and comes with a light source with an E27 base and a mounting plate. It is also dimmable for the desired light effect. The Alma w171 fits well in the hallway or living room of the modern home, where it adds a subtle sense of softness, with the warm white light reflecting against the waves.
