Kelvin is abbreviated with a k, and is the value that measures the colour temperature, which is essential when it comes to the lighting itself. In short, the lower the kelvin value, the warmer the light in question. However, it can be difficult to know which kelvin value to go for, but try to keep in mind that 2700 k is a relevant value to start with for the home.
