In 2016, the British brand Joy Resolve was founded by Josh Renouf. The brand's first product, the Barisieur coffee maker, with its alarm clock, has the ability to brew delicious coffee or tea while waking you up in the morning with soft bubbling and soothing aromas. This product was made possible thanks to the financial support of over 2,000 people around the world in 2016, who participated in a crowdfunding campaign that then became the launch pad for Joy Resolve.

In 2018, Joy Resolve founder Josh Renouf decided to take a break from sending Barisieur to supportive Joy Resolve backers and visited a pub in East London. Here he met Markus, who was visiting the city, and started talking about his vision for the company. When Markus heard about Josh's passion for technology and eco-friendly products, Markus decided to join the Joy Resolve team and moved to London. Through hard work and dedication, Josh and Markus have managed to expand the company with a passionate team based in Hackney, England. By sticking to its mission of providing tangible solutions with the environment in mind, Joy Resolve has enjoyed great success since its inception.
