Bliss Rug Big comes from the artistic collaboration between Dutch textile designer Mae Engelgeer and food manufacturer cc-tapis. The rug is made from a wool and silk blend and is available in the size 170 x 300 cm. Engelgeer started the Bliss Collection by experimenting with color and rounded shapes characterized by 3D effects. Mae tried to keep the playfulness of the Memphis movement in mind while mixing elements like pattern and shape with different production techniques. In this natural color combination, Engelgeer wants to emphasize and pay tribute to nature's materials. The rug is therefore created with completely undyed yarns that highlight the wide palette of natural shades found in Himalayan wool.
