Nike is a table lamp from Catellani Smith that is part of the Oggetti senza Tempo series. The collection is a collection of Enzo Catellani's early designs and futures, developed more for the simple pleasure of making something more than a lamp. As the name suggests, the lamp is shaped like the statue Nike from Samothrace with a lamp stand whose light rests where the head once was. The angelic sculpture is made from molded ceramic hand-painted white with lime paint. Nike's clean materials and design make it equally at home in a classic setting or a classic feature in a modern one. The lamp is dimmable and has the distinct blue cable. Exclusively handcrafted in Italy, right on the banks of the Serio River in the Bergamo area.
