Ruff Pouf is an interior detail created by the design couple Romero Vallejo for Gan. Their inspiration for these charming poufs was taken from the large collar nibs worn around the necks of the rich and well-to-do during the Renaissance. The poufs are an amalgamation of different folding techniques and geometric shapes. Its frame consists of a cylinder formed from polystyrene and foam rubber, wrapped in felted wool. Through the combination of hard and soft materials, as well as the abstract and geometric in the design, the pouf acquires a strong character that fits perfectly in different rooms within the home.
