The Organic Chair is an armchair designed by Charles Eames & Eero Saarinen for the Swiss brand Vitra. Made of a laminate shell, polyurethane foam padding with fabric upholstery. The legs are made of ash. Choose from a variety of upholstery colors. This way you can easily create your own personal chair that fits your home. The armchair was designed in 1940 and is both stylish and comfortable. It was originally made as an entry for MoMA's "Organic Design in Home Furnishing" competition. When it was designed, it was ahead of its time, and due to a lack of suitable manufacturing techniques, it was not put into production until ten years later, in the 1950s.
