Landi Chair is a timeless outdoor armchair designed by Hans Coray for Vitra in 1938. Coray described himself as being at the intersection of design, art and architecture with a passion for the functional and simple. The chair is a good example of this, a chair that has been produced for many years that also lasts for many years. Many steps in the production are done by hand and the entire construction except for the plastic furniture feet is made of matte, anodized aluminum. The outdoor chair is both robust and water-resistant and has a total of 91 holes, which is both its signature and functional as rainwater does not collect on the seat. It is possible to stack up to 6 chairs high, but we recommend doing this with caution to maintain its condition. As it is not varnished, it can withstand sunlight without losing its color, which is unusual for outdoor furniture.
