The Rangthong brand was founded in the 1970s by designer Jaivid Rangthong. Rangthong is inspired by traditional Thai craftsmanship and the tools used by farmers in the Thai countryside for centuries. All Rangthong products are made from a single piece of 18/8 stainless steel, the blades and handles of which are hammered out over open fire. The blade is polished to a mirror finish while the handle is tempered. An elegant contrast between the raw and the polished.
Authentic Thai craftsmanship
The craftsmanship is still done just as it was when the company was founded, in Thailand. All products are produced by hand in the traditional way. The seal on the strap is a guarantee of the quality of the product and ensures that everything is forged in stainless steel of the highest quality. In 1984, Rangthong cutlery was included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Today, Rangthong's products are collectors' items all over the world.
All handles are dishwasher safe with the handles down in the cutlery basket. All cutlery can also have its shiny part polished with stainless steel polish and the matte surface underneath with beeswax. At NO GA you will find a large selection of Rangthong cutlery and various types of serving utensils.
