Puff Floor Lamp Bubble is part of a series of lamps made from rice paper and designed by Saskia Huebner for Normann Copenhagen. This collection represents a modern interpretation of the traditional use of rice lamps in Asia, where rice lamp shades have been part of the culture for centuries. The floor lamp consists of a lampshade in rice paper and a base in powder-coated steel, with a soft EVA foam underneath to protect the floor. The rice paper enables the creation of large volume without excessive use of material or unnecessary weight in the lamp. Its natural brightness filters the light from the light source in a soft way, creating a pleasant and warm lighting while giving the room an organic and inviting atmosphere.
