The Pao Steel Pendant 350 is part of the Pao series, an exciting new collaboration between Danish brand HAY and designer Naoto Fukasawa. The lamp is made of pressed steel with a high-gloss wet spray finish that is easy to clean. Choose between the colours Soft Black, Cream White and Cool Grey. The diffuser is made of injection moulded opalescent acrylic (PMMA), which means the Pao Steel Pendant 350 has no visible features or fittings on the surface. This gives it a seamless, clean aesthetic. The lamp has a 4 meter long braided fabric cable with silicone insulation.

The Pao series is characterised by Fukasawa's "super normal" aesthetic of beautiful minimalism, where everyday objects are allowed to take their place in the design world. The inspiration for the Pao Steel Pendant 350 is drawn from a trip to Mongolia, where traditional nomadic tents called "Yurt" or in Japanese "Pao" lit up the surroundings at night. Fukasawa fell in love with the glowing shape that brought to mind the comfort, warmth and security of a home. Pao Steel Pendant 350 creates a warm, directional light. The lamp is also available in Pao Steel Pendant 230 and Pao Steel Pendant 470. The collection also includes a table lamp and a pendant lamp in two sizes of glass.
