73.7 Semi-Rigid is a ceiling lamp from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2015. The lamp has seven pendants meant to be suspended in a random configuration; the height is adjustable to a maximum of 300 cm. The irregular shape is the result of blowing liquid glass into a folded and highly heat-resistant material which, after solidification, gives a textual appearance associated with fabric. The lightbulb measures approximately 26-30.5 cm in width and is made by hand, making each one unique in proportion, size, and shape. 73.7 Semi-Rigid is available in green or clear glass and is horizontal, so the pendants are suspended from the ceiling with a thin metal cable. For example, they can be placed around a corner or at different distances to create the illusion of suspended gravity. The lamp comes with a brushed nickel round ceiling mount.
