PK8 is a stylish three-legged dining chair from Fritz Hansen, designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1978. The chair has a modern minimalist design, with a molded plastic shell and upholstered leather front. The three legs are made of anodized and satin-brushed aluminum. The chair is available with a white or black shell and a wide variety of leather for the upholstery. PK8 goes perfectly with the PK58 table from Fritz Hansen.
For many years, the chair existed only as a prototype at the home of Hanne Kjærholm, Poul Kjærholm's wife. PK8 first went into production in 2007 and was introduced to the public at The Furniture Architect exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark.Brand:
