Chouchin 1 Reverse Gold was created by Ionna Vautrin for Foscarini. Chouchin is a family of lamps that construct a dynamic relationship between form and shape. The name indicates the traditional paper lanterns that in Japan are kept outside the home as a symbol of luck and good fortune. The lamp is made of hand-blown glass that is tapered at the bottom so that you can choose to have the details in the color combination white/gold or only gold. The white glass dome creates not only a direct light downwards but also a diffuse light that spreads out in the room where it is placed.

The Chouchin family also includes lamps in other colors and finishes that can be combined with each other.
