Edin and Lina Kjellvertz, founders of Dusty Deco, started in their apartment with a passion for unique interior details. Their passion for unique and characterful interior pieces drove them to explore flea markets and antique shops, quickly transforming their home into a small museum and laying the foundation for what would become Dusty Deco. 

Edin & Lina Kjellvertz 1974/1978 

Edin Kjellvertz, born in 1974, and Lina Kjellvertz, born in 1978, began their careers in the fashion industry. Their shared passion for design and fascination with collecting unique items for their own home eventually led them into the field of interior design and the creation of Dusty Deco. 

Dusty Deco – From Flea Markets to International Design Success 

Their apartment quickly became a storage space for all the unique furniture and interior details they found at various flea markets. This hobby soon developed into a business opportunity when they realized there was a market for these unique items, and they began selling the surplus on Blocket. Their success led to the opening of several stores in Stockholm and eventually a larger flagship store on Brahegatan. There, they expanded their range to include carefully selected design classics and contemporary art, broadening their offering and attracting an even larger clientele. Their unique ability to mix vintage with modern design has influenced not only Swedish homes but also internationally. The couple, now based in Mallorca, continues to inspire design lovers worldwide with their carefully curated collections and passion for authentic stories through interior design.

Edin and Lina Kjellvertz have not only focused on collecting and selling unique design objects through Dusty Deco but have also developed their own range of design products. Their personal design reflects the eclectic mix of old and new that has become Dusty Deco’s signature. The Arcissimo Vase Large is a vase from Dusty Deco designed by Edin and Lina Kjellvertz. The vase is made of ceramic and is characterized by its wavy form, giving it a sculptural and organic feel. This design makes the vase an eye-catching interior object, perfect for both modern and classic environments. The vase is part of Dusty Deco’s own design collection, which also includes other products such as the DD Bamboo Bracelet Sofa Table and their line of patterned rugs.
