292 Hill House 1 was originally designed in 1902 by Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and put into production by Italian brand Cassina in 1973. With a step-inspired back, the chair can be seen as a piece of abstract art and takes its inspiration from geometric and Japanese design.
