Founded in 1947 in Småland, Byarums Bruk is a long-standing producer of park and garden furniture, planters and products for urban spaces, all made using traditional sand moulding methods in cast iron.

The company proudly combines a mix of classic models and modern design in its product line. What makes Byarums Bruk unique is that they manufacture their products with designs spanning four centuries, all made directly in their own foundry in Byarum.

The casting process at Byarum is characterised by traditional, artisanal methods, especially the ancient technique of raw sand moulding. This method means that each mould is created from natural sand and water, without the use of chemical binders. The metal, which is melted, is then poured into the mould to create the finished piece. This process ensures that each moulded detail is unique. Interestingly, Byarums Bruk uses only recycled aluminium in its production, which is an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly choice.

A cultural heritage to manage

Byarums Bruk emphasises the importance of both innovation and sustainability in its work. The tradition of craftsmanship is still maintained, with the slow pace and skill required in the foundry contributing to the company's unique products.
