The Piccola Papilio armchair was designed by the designer Naoto Fukasawa and was put into production by the Italian B&B Italia in 2010. The frame is made of steel and the seat is padded with cold-formed polyurethane foam and polyester. The upholstery can be ordered in fabric or leather in a range of different colours. Piccola Papilio is part of the Papilio series. Papilio means butterfly, and it is precisely the shape of a butterfly's wings that is the inspiration behind the design.
