Karin 73 Nordiska Galleriet Limited Edition was launched on February 4, 2022 at 10:00 am.

Bruno Mathsson's iconic piece of furniture Karin 73 is now being released in a new edition by Nordiska Galleriet and DUX.

The new edition combines the armchair's timeless design with today's pulse in two new colors, purple and green. The Karin armchair was created in 1969 and quickly became a classic signed by furniture designer Bruno Mathsson. It was named after Mathsson's wife and 4 years later came the sequel Karin 73.

Karin 73 is deeply stitched in the back and seat, which gives the furniture a unique and retro-inspired expression. Padded back and seat cushions contribute to a comfort so comfortable that you will want to spend a lot of time in the armchair. Karin 73 is designed in leather, with legs and wheels in chrome and it is easy to move and place in the room. The production takes place locally in Sösdala in Scania with materials of Swedish origin.

With the new edition, Nordiska Galleriet and DUX invite Karin 73 to the 2020s, with the ambition to inspire and lift the product to new levels on the international market.
