The pretty armchair Do-Maru was designed in 2016 by the design duo Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien and is produced by Italian B&B Italia. The back is made of polyurethane and the upholstery is available in leather or fabric and can be ordered in a variety of colors. The name Do-Maru comes from ancient armor made of thin painted leather, worn by samurai in battle. Inspired by the armor, the design duo made an armchair where the thin leather in the seat is padded with polyurethane foam for the highest possible comfort. That, together with the cone-shaped back, makes the armchair stand out both in appearance and comfort.
