Ann Demeulemeester 1959

She quickly became part of the famous group "Antwerp Six," a group of Belgian designers who revolutionized the fashion industry in the 1980s.

Demeulemeester's Collaboration with Serax 

In 2013, Ann Demeulemeester decided to leave her own brand to make room for new creative leaders to carry her legacy forward. Despite stepping back from the fashion industry, her influence continues to be felt. In 2019, she launched, together with the Belgian design brand Serax, Ann Demeulemeester x Serax – a collection of affordable porcelain tableware made in China, as well as silver cutlery, glassware, and larger household items. 

The collaboration with Serax marked a new phase in Demeulemeester's career, where her design philosophy and aesthetics now live on through innovative and modern interior products, such as beautiful espresso cups. As a respected creative voice, Demeulemeester has approached her interior collections with the same spirit as her fashion label, with an inherent pursuit of beauty.
