The Coupé 1158 glass lamp was designed by the world-famous Italian designer Joe Colombo in 1967 for Oluce. The lamp is part of the Coupé range, which was developed to complement the Spider lighting range designed two years earlier. Like its predecessor, Coupé 1158 has a curved metal frame and a painted aluminum shade. What distinguishes the curved wall lamp from the Spider collection is, among other things, the cylindrical aluminum shade in either a black or white finish. The Coupé 1158 looks as modern today as it did when it was launched over 50 years ago. The lamp has a clever design that allows the body to be moved both horizontally and vertically. The shade of the Coupé 1158 is also rotatable, allowing you to choose between direct or indirect light.
