The Timb Chair, designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, is a dining chair that embodies simplicity where its clean and functional design is the focus. The name reflects the chair's vision of the material's natural value and uncomplicated form. The chair has a minimalist wooden frame with carefully designed details that create a clear contrast between the soft curves and the sharp lines. The elegant wooden dowel joints, a clear sign of traditional craftsmanship, make it possible to manufacture the chair without screws, allowing the wood to be the central part of the design. The chair is made with a solid frame in ash wood and a wide, comfortable seat and backrest in ash veneer. The chair has a humble character which means that it smoothly and elegantly blends into different environments, and thus gives space for other more prominent parts of the interior to come into their own.
