The Saarinen Conference Chair was designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1946 - 1950. The chair has an elegant, clean design with a comfortable upholstered seat made of molded polyurethane foam and a backrest that is fully upholstered. A selection of leathers and fabrics for the upholstery are available. The Conference Chair is available with legs in oak in several stains or in chromed metal.
The Saarinen Conference Chair won the Museum of Modern Art Award and the Federal Award for Industrial Design in 1969.
